Vasumathi founded SuviBadra Institute of Indian Art & Culture, in the year 1989. SuviBadra is dedicated to the cause of Carnatic music and Bharata Natyam dance, and works towards preservation, propagation and expansion of Indian art and culture at large. Vasumathi has produced and presented several culture-based features, talk-shows, panel discussions for the radio and television. Some of her productions include:
