On the academic front, Vasumathi holds a Master’s degree in French literature from the University of Bombay, and an M.Phil in French from the University of Franche-Comte, France. Besides French, Vasumathi is fluent in English and several Indian languages, with good exposure to Spanish and Russian languages.
